There is a special magic about being little. One of the beautiful parts of parenthood is getting to see the world again through the eyes of our children. Things that seem ordinary to us now, or that we fail to take notice of amidst our busy days, spark wonder for children; like the "rainbows" my children have pointed out on the floor inside when it rains and the light reflects through the windows. The new collection from Rylee + Cru is inspired by the grand imaginations of little ones and mythical, enchanted forests. Mushroom houses, fairies and floral fields are found throughout the collection in whimsical illustrations and patterns.
Both new & classic colors and silhouettes make up the AW20 collection. The color palette features deep, natural colors. A rich, rusty cinnamon and ivory and natural are colors we expect and love for fall. This season a gorgeous forest green and a vintage black are big parts of the collection. In terms of materials there are plenty of soft cottons, sweats and woven cottons as with previous collections. In addition this collection has a much more extensive collection of knits, a few flannel pieces and a soft, new corduroy we adore.
Rylee + Cru has outdone themselves with the accessories this season. First and foremost: HATS! We have been dreaming of these hats season after season and finally they have included them in the current collection. We have both the vintage black and cinnamon colors. Other styles we love include classic knit hats & beanies, plus adorable new knit mittens in two colorways.
The collection features lots of styles for boys. Two of our favorite matchy-matchy sets are Into the Woods tee & slouch pant and the Moon dust tee & slouch pant. Cool new sweat sets are must haves, like the You're Golden Sweatshirt & Jogger pant and the Stay Wild Sweatshirt & Jogger pant. Plus the retro style ringer tees in two styles give us all the feels.
