For AW18 Rylee + Cru’s new collection goes west! The inspiration for the collection is nostalgia for a time when brave travelers ventured out across the prairie lands in search of fortune, opportunity and the hope of a better life offered by the new frontier. The color palette consists of beautiful neutrals; creams, marigold, muted pink, soft olive and deep grey. Prints include gingham, delicate starry design, tiny dots, rainbows and a variety of sweet animal prints including foxes, swallows and owls.

Past styles in new prints combine with beautiful new silhouettes we love. Favorite styles including the color blocked henley, full skirted t-shirt dresses, slouch sweaters, leggings and basic tees & bloomers are strong staples of the collection. New styles include the Kat dress, Ruffle V dress in marigold and stripe, Velvet tie mini dress, Savannah blouse and mini skort in three pretty prints. We always remember the boys; you'll find cool tees, print button downs, matching cotton lounge and sweat sets, as well as soft, cool pant styles. Our favorite pieces for babies include the Piper blouse with matching button shorts and the beautiful Guincy blouse with flutter bloomers. Plus the dash romper is an adorable unisex piece that begs us to joke that there's a new sheriff in town!
The cool weather pieces are chic and cozy. Prairieland features ultra soft and squishy sweaters and three gorgeous jackets so good we can't pick a favorite! You'll have to choose your favorite between a floral embroidered cropped military jacket, dusty pink faux fur bomber lined in gingham, and a saddle colored biker jacket. The Cassidy sweater in both styles is unisex and possible the most comfortable sweater ever. We can't forget the silky soft chenille pieces including beanies and an adorable bear sweater for baby. One of the the most important things about these outer layers is that they are all comfortable - comfort is so crucial for us because we know it matters to children. (Let's be honest, we love comfortable clothes as much as the next kid!)
